The Light Duty Vehicle Logbook is used as part of preventative maintenance to ensure that the vehicle is in operable condition. When first beginning the logbook, the operator completes a preliminary vehicle inspection, noting all existing damages on the vehicle. On a daily basis, prior to each use, the operator records circle checks, then on a weekly basis to record inspections.
