The Danger Tag is a 2 part tag process used to manage the control of hazardous energy. The Danger Tag indicates that the tool/equipment/machinery tagged is not to be operated. Specific procedures for tag out should also be established by the company. Once the Danger Tag has been removed from the tool/machinery/equipment, the tags can kept on file as part of maintenance records.
